From the city’s winding waterway to the delicate movements of traditional Turkish dance, Istanbul is a city of motion. Movement which is replicated through the crossbars and negative space of the letterforms. The typeface draws on the nouveau flair of Europe and the calligraphy style of Western Asia with a refreshed and contemporary approach.
